Why Cellm Exists

We're here to develop a tool that frees the world's one billion spreadsheet users from manual digital labor, so they can spend more time thinking, planning, and creating.

We chose to build an Excel add-in because that's the tool many people already know and therefore the fastest way to give everyday AI users the same automation capabilities that programmers enjoy.

Our thesis is that AI will become a fundamental tool for all business operations; that the path to mass adoption is a shortcut that bypasses developers and lets people to automate workflows at the edge; that the entire chat paradigm needs to be rethought from first principles to serve this market; and that a healthy company can be built by whomever pulls it off.

About the makers

Hello, we are Zacharias and Kasper. We started Cellm in late 2024 as a side project helping one of our friends classify scientific papers in bulk. Today we run it as a business.

There's no massive team, no investors looking for growth, just us, running a bootstrapped, sustainable business. Cellm is funded 100% by its customers with no plans to raise venture funding. It is built to last and we expect to be running it in ten years.

We care deeply about our users' problems and we personally respond to every email we get.
